Christina Hendricks

Christina Hendricks was an American actress who is best known for her role as Joan Holloway. She played the character in seven seasons on AMC's historical drama Mad Men from 2007-2015. Her performance received praise from the critics as well as nominations for 6 Emmy awards in the category of best supporting actress. Her career, which spans more than two decades has seen her appear in the crime comedy series Tin Star as well as Kevin Hill's legal drama. In films she is noted for her role as a character in Drive Ginger & Rosa Lost River The Neon Demon The Strangers: Prey at Night Egg as well as American Woman. The voice actress also played the role of characters from films like Toy Story 4 Scoob!, Toy Story 4: From Up on Poppy Hill, and From Up on Poppy Hill. Her career began as a fashion model, and worked as a model for a few years until she made her television debut with Undressed. Her first note-worthy performance as a character the comedy series Beggars and Choosers. Following that, she was praised for her role in Firefly. Esquire magazine honoured her with the title of sexiest and best-looking American woman for 2010 in their annual poll.
