Michael Keaton is an American actor, producer and director who is best known for his performance in the film "Birdman. As a versatile actor, he can perform comedy and dramatic roles. Apart from playing the roles of a romantic, he has also played in action films as well as thrillers. His interest in the performing arts began at the age of teen. He attempted stand-up comedy in his early 20s. Even though his stand-up act wasn't a success, it did to open the way for his acting. In order to be successful as a comedian, he got a job in the role of a cameraman with a local cable television station. When he was working in the station that he realized that the way he wanted to work was in front of the camera. Through a handful of episodes of Mister Rogers Neighborhood, he got a television part. He was naturally gifted and became very popular on television. His comedic characters brought him fame and he began the career of a filmmaker who had high hopes. The actor gained more fame in the role of Batman as the main character in Tim Burton's Batman. As an actor, he grew in the years to come and then ventured into the production and direction worlds. For his role in Birdman (2014), he received numerous awards and nominations.
