John Denver, a singer-songwriter who hails from Colorado who specialized in folk music, has touched the hearts of millions. Born Henry John Deutschendorf Jr. in Roswell New Mexico he fell in love with Colorado and eventually settled in Aspen. Denver's songs for his home state have drawn many to Colorado.
